reflexology-in-heaton-moor

Reflexology is my most popular therapy. It is based on the principle that reflex points on the feet are connected to corresponding areas throughout the body. In this way, the feet can been seen as a map of the body and often reflect what is going on in a person’s physical and mental state.

During a Reflexology treatment, the reflexes will be worked on with thumbs and fingers, using specialised massage techniques to help correct imbalances throughout the body and help release blocked energy.

I have additional qualifications in unexplained infertility, pregnancy and post-natal care and Reflexology for Menopause. I continue with my personal Mindfulness and Meditation practice and study and will be offering Mindful Reflexology soon.

+ Reflexology can help with:

  • Managing Stress/Depression/Anxiety
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • PMT/Menopause/Hormonal imbalance
  • Back/Joint pain
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Post Operative Recovery
  • Insomnia
  • Migraines

+ Benefits of Reflexology include:

  • Reduced stress
  • Feelings of deep relaxation
  • Increased energy levels
  • The release of endorphins, the body’s feel good hormones (which can also provide pain relief)
  • Improved circulation
  • More efficient removal of impurities and toxins
  • A stronger immune system
  • A sense that the whole body is better balanced and in harmony

A course of regular reflexology treatments is recommended but not essential.

A Reflexologist should never claim to cure or diagnose health conditions. Medical advice should always be sought if you have any health concerns.
